CREATING LIVABLE HOMES

Justine took such a great amount of work off my plate and let me focus on the daily tasks of building and coordinating subs. The amount of time saved for me having to procure finishes, as well as the task of actually creating a design that was cohesive and in line with the latest trends was worth the cost of her design services alone. I was so impressed with her design skills and attention to detail that I convinced my wife to let her design our personal home. It would be hard for me to build a house without having my clients use her. It takes so much of the indecision and selection times out of the equation, not to mention what clients save on change orders because they get it right the first time.

We are so thankful we found Justine. Real life home building is not "as seen on TV". There is a lot of behind the scenes effort to create the house you desire. She is my person who is doing the work behind the scenes, putting in the effort to create the house we dreamt of. Her confidence is calming. She listens to what we like, want, don't want, and is able to create a design that we are all excited about. She’s not afraid to be bold with colors and textures, pulling me out of my comfort zone in certain areas of our home, while keeping the rest of the design cohesive. She has sought out vendors and craftsmen who can create our favorite design ideas. With her expertise, she has executed turning our 5000 sq. ft. dream home into a reality.

When we began the process of building our dream custom home, I was determined to do it on my own. However, as we neared breaking ground, I really began to worry if everything would look good together. Justine was recommended to me and when we met, she laid out what she had to offer and put me at ease about the entire process. She reviewed my selections and showed me some higher quality materials that would last over time, without increasing cost. She was also up for the challenge of melding both mine and my husband’s styles together, to create a finished product we would both love. She has certainly followed through on this promise, to the point that we joke she is our interior designer and marriage counselor. With so much heart, soul, and money into this project, I feel so comfortable with Justine guiding us.

When wanting to add more of a personal touch to our Chicago condo, I immediately thought of Justine. From the initial conversation, she understood our personal aesthetic that we wanted to achieve, and she had a vision that fit into our home, as well as, within our budget. Even from a distance, she was always there to guide us through the process. She was always just a phone call, FaceTime, text, or e-mail away. Her virtual E-Design results are everything we could have imagined. We are so excited to live in our newly upgraded, cozy space.
